The Portuguese midfielder scored one goal and made six assists in 42 games in the Championship to help Wolves secure promotion to the Premier League.
The 21-year-old was widely considered to be Wolves’ best player after his move to the Championship side from Champions League outfit FC Porto in a £16m deal last summer.
Neves has unsurprisingly attracted some interest from the Premier League given his outstanding performances throughout the 2017-18 season.
Liverpool FC have been linked with a potential swoop to sign the Portuguese talent in the 2018 summer transfer window.
The Reds are light on midfield options following Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s serious knee injury during Liverpool FC’s 5-2 win over AS Roma in the Champions League semi-final.
Germany international Emre Can has been linked with a potential switch to Serie A champions Juventus at the end of the season when his current Liverpool FC deal expires.
Speaking to The Guardian about his future at Wolves, Liverpool FC target Neves said:
“I came here to help the club and the club has helped me as well.
“I think we achieved all our goals, as an individual and as a team. It is normal as big clubs see our work, not just me but all the boys, but I am really happy here. I want to stay and I want to enjoy the Premier League with this fantastic club.”
Liverpool FC will take on La Liga giants Real Madrid in the Champions League final later this month.
