The Reds completed a £40m deal to sign the holding midfielder from Ligue 1 side AS Monaco in the summer transfer window.
Fabinho has been snapped up to improve Jurgen Klopp’s options in the middle of the park following a positive season this term.
The South American star established himself as one of the best players in Ligue 1 and the 24-year-old helped AS Monaco to win the Ligue 1 title in 2016-17.
Fabinho missed out on a spot in Brazil’s World Cup squad despite his impressive performances in the French top flight over the past 24 months or so.
However, Brazil captain Thiago is a big fan of the Liverpool FC summer signing despite his past rivalry with Fabinho.
“He is really smart, a really technical player and I am sure he will get adapted to the Premier League as soon as he arrives here,” Thiago told talkSPORT.
“He changed his position in Monaco, he was a right-back and now he is a midfielder.
“I don’t know how Liverpool are thinking about using him, but I am sure they can use him in both.”
Liverpool FC finished in fourth place in the Premier League table to secure a return to the Champions League for the second successive season.
The Reds lost 3-1 to La Liga giants Real Madrid in the Champions League final in Kiev last weekend despite producing an impressive performance.
Liverpool FC haven’t won the Premier League title but appear to be making significant progress under the German head coach this season.
