Jurgen Klopp delivers the latest update on Emre Can's injury ahead of Liverpool FC v Real Madrid

Jurgen Klopp has revealed that Emre Can is in contention to play for Liverpool FC in their Champions League final showdown with Real Madrid later this month.
The Germany midfielder has been sidelined with a back injury in recent weeks and has been undergoing treatment as he bids to try and make himself available for the final showdown in Kiev on 26 May.
Can will be hoping to prove his fitness to the Liverpool FC boss this week as the Reds undergo a training camp in Marbella ahead of the Champions League showdown.
The 24-year-old has been unavailable since 17 March due to the injury but he will be hoping to prove his fitness in the coming days.
And although Klopp has confirmed that Can does still have some work to do, the German manager appears to be hopeful that he could be fit for the final.
Speaking to Liverpool FC’s website, Klopp said: “Emre is here, that’s good – having him in the group is always good, a fantastic boy.
“We will see what we can do with him, there’s still a little bit of work to do, but good to have him here.”
Meanwhile, Can’s future continues to be a source of speculation, with the midfielder’s contract due to expire at the end of the season.
The midfielder is yet to pen a new deal at Anfield, meaning that he could leave the club on a free transfer this summer.
