Gary Neville reveals he'll be celebrating Real Madrid in the Champions League final against Liverpool FC
Gary Neville has admitted that he will be fully supporting Real Madrid when they take on Liverpool FC in the Champions League final on Saturday night.
The Reds are preparing to face the Spanish giants as they look to win their first major trophy since Jurgen Klopp’s appointment at Anfield back in the autumn of 2015.
Liverpool FC have been earning plenty of praise for their strong displays on their way to the final, with the Reds having beaten the likes of Manchester City, AS Roma and FC Porto this season.
Former Manchester United defender Neville feels that the Reds deserve a lot of credit for the way in which they have performed in Europe this season.
However, the Red Devils legend openly admits that he will be cheering on Real Madrid in Saturday’s showdown in Kiev.
Speaking on his Sky Sports podcast, Neville said: “I will be supporting Real Madrid but you can’t take anything away from Liverpool.”
Liverpool FC head into the game after having booked their place in the Champions League for next season via a top-four finish in the Premier League.
The Reds have been earning plenty of new admirers thanks to their free-flowing attacking football under Klopp this term.
