Man United will demand £100m for 20-year-old striker – report
Manchester United will only consider a £100m offer for England star Marcus Rashford, according to a report in England
Manchester United will demand £200m for Marcus Rashford if the Red Devils opt to sell the England international, according to a report in England.
The Daily Star is reporting that Rashford is facing an uncertain future at the Red Devils following a difficult campaign for the 20-year-old.
The same article states that Manchester United would be reluctant to sell Rashford but the 20-time English champions would consider offers in excess of £100m.
However, Manchester United chief executive Ed Woodward is confident that such a high asking price and the prospect of a new contract would be enough to deter an offer from a rival club.
According to the same story, Rashford is attracting interest from Real Madrid, Barcelona, Chelsea and Paris St-Germain ahead of the summer transfer window.
The English forward has found his first-team opportunities limited this season following the arrival of Romelu Lukaku in a £75m deal from Everton last summer.
Manchester United recruited Chile international Alexis Sanchez in a swap deal from Arsenal in the January transfer window to provide Rashford with even more competition for a first-team place.
The Red Devils are in second place in the Premier League table and will take on Chelsea FC in the FA Cup final.
