Marouane Fellaini has hinted that he will remain at Manchester United beyond the summer transfer window.

The Belgium international is set to become a free agent at the end of the 2017-18 season unless the versatile midfielder puts pen to paper on a new contract with Manchester United.

The Red Devils star scored the winner in Manchester United’s 2-1 victory over Arsenal at Old Trafford following his goal in the 91st minute.

Fellaini has scored four times in four starts and 11 substitute appearances in the Premier League this season, while the Belgian midfielder got on the score sheet in the Champions League too.

The 30-year-old has been linked with a potential switch to Turkey, while Manchester Unite’s bitter rivals Liverpool FC were touted as surprise contenders to sign the former Everton midfielder.

However, Fellaini, whose contract is set to expire at the end of the campaign, has dropped big hint that he has a future at the 20-time English champions.

“I think next season is a big season for us. it will be the third year of the manager so we have to try to win the league,” Fellaini told Man United’s website.

Manchester United are in second place in the Premier League table and on course to secure their best finish since Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement in 2013.

The Red Devils will take on Chelsea FC in the FA Cup final at Wembley in May.
