Gary Neville delivers honest assessment of Man United star Paul Pogba
The Manchester United legend criticises Paul Pogba's inconsistent performances

Gary Neville has claimed that Paul Pogba has been far too inconsistent for Manchester United this season.
The France international made an encouraging start to the Premier League campaign after he scored two goals and made two assists in his opening four Premier League games.
However, Pogba’s strong start was brought to a halt after the club record signing suffered a hamstring problem in Manchester United’s first Champions League fixture of the season.
Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has been critical of Pogba since his return from injury, particularly his lack of defensive discipline in a midfield partnership with Nemanja Matic.
Pogba has tended to do better in a midfield three and the France star inspired a comeback from 2-0 down to beat Premier League champions Manchester City 3-2 at the Etihad Stadium thanks to his two goals.
The 25-year-old has scored three goals and made two assists in his last nine games in all competitions.
Speaking to Sky Sports following Manchester United’s disappointing goalless draw with West Ham United on Thursday night, Neville rated Pogba’s second season back at Old Trafford.
“Pogba has fallen short in terms of quality [this season], far too inconsistent,” said Neville on Sky Sports.
Manchester United re-signed Pogba in a £89m deal from Serie A giants Juventus in the 2016 summer transfer window.
