French outlet Le10Sport, as quoted by Metro, is reporting that the Red Devils are keen on signing the 25-year-old defender this summer as Jose Mourinho looks to bolster his squad ahead of next season.
Manchester United are set to be linked with a host of players in the coming weeks and months as Mourinho aims to assemble a team capable of winning the Premier League title next season.
The same story says that signing Sidibe will be one of Manchester United’s transfer priorities in the summer window as Mourinho aims to strengthen his squad.
However, the same article says that Monaco will try and hold out for a big fee for the defender this summer.
Sidibe was a regular fixture in the Monaco team this season and he scored two goals and made six assists in 26 Ligue 1 games for the French side.
Meanwhile, Manchester United are currently preparing for their FA Cup final showdown against Chelsea FC at Wembley on Saturday evening.
The Red Devils head into the game looking to end the campaign with a trophy as they aim for a serious title challenge next term.
