Man United could make 30-year-old their first summer signing – report
Man United want to sign Dries Mertens from Napoli this summer, according to reports

Manchester United are lining up a summer transfer move to sign Dries Mertens from Napoli, according to reports in the British media.
The Sun is reporting that Jose Mourinho has identified the 30-year-old Belgian as one of his top transfer targets as the summer transfer window draws ever nearer.
The same report says that Manchester United are ready to meet Mertens’ release clause, which is believed to be set at just £25m.
According to the same story, Manchester United manager Mourinho is a keen admirer of Mertens’ versatility and his ability to play in a variety of positions.
Mertens has been in fine form for Napoli this season, scoring 17 goals and making six assists in 35 Serie A games for the Italian side.
He also netted twice in the Champions League for the Italian club.
Manchester United are on the lookout for a number of new signings this summer as Mourinho looks to assemble a squad capable of winning the Premier League title next season.
The Red Devils, who will take on Chelsea FC in the FA Cup final, are hoping to finish this term as runners-up to Manchester City as they aim for their highest-ever finish since Sir Alex Ferguson retired as manager back in 2013.
