Insider admits that 30-year-old could be set to leave Man United this summer
Kristof Terreur delivers the latest update on Marouane Fellaini's future at Man United
Marouane Fellaini could be on his way out of Manchester United this summer, according to Belgian journalist Kristof Terreur.
The Belgian midfielder’s future has been a constant source of speculation in recent months as he approaches the end of his current deal, which expires at the end of the season.
Manchester United are believed to be keen to get the midfielder to sign a new contract at Old Trafford, but the Belgian is yet to put pen to paper on a new deal.
It remains to be seen whether Fellaini is going to commit his future to the Old Trafford outfit or end up leaving the club on a free transfer at the end of the current campaign.
Now, Belgian reporter Terreur is claiming that Fellaini has now three times rejected the offer of a new contract at Old Trafford as he delivered the latest update on the situation.
Speaking on the Sky Sports Transfer Talk podcast, Terreur said: “If they don’t find an agreement this week it might not happen.
“Man United have offered three contracts so far. It is his wish to stay but only on his terms which means a longer contract and on the wage that he is on at the moment.”
Manchester United are likely to be linked with a host of players in the coming weeks and months as Jose Mourinho looks to bolster his squad ahead of next season.
Red Devils fans will be expecting to see their team challenge for the Premier League title next season.
