Romelu Lukaku has hinted that he will be fit for Manchester United’s FA Cup final showdown against Chelsea FC later this month.

The Belgian striker has been sidelined in recent games after having picked up an ankle injury but he is working hard on his recovery behind the scenes.

Lukaku has been a mainstay of the first team at Old Trafford this season since his move to the club from Everton in the summer transfer window last year.

Manchester United fans will be hoping to see Lukaku return to action in time for the Red Devils’ crunch showdown with Chelsea FC as they look to end the season with a trophy.

And Red Devils forward Lukaku has revealed that his recovery is going well as the build-up to the FA Cup final continues.

Speaking to Belgian outlet HLN about his recovery from injury, striker Lukaku said: ”It goes faster than expected, as always.”

Manchester United are currently in second place in the Premier League table as they look to try and finish as runners-up to Manchester City in the top flight.

The Red Devils won both the League Cup and Europa League in Jose Mourinho’s first season in charge at the club last term.
