The Daily Mirror is reporting that the Red Devils are keen to secure the long-term future of the 20-year-old by tying him down to a new and improved contract after this summer’s World Cup.
Rashford is widely regarded as one of England’s most promising attacking talents but his lack of regular starts in the first team under Jose Mourinho this season has prompted speculation that he could seek more consistent playing time elsewhere,
However, the same report says that Manchester United are determined to try and get Rashford to commit to a new deal at Old Trafford.
He currently earns around £60,000 a week, but the Red Devils are ready to push his wages closer to the £100,000 a week mark to get him to commit his long-term future to the Old Trafford outfit.
Rashford will be hoping to help Manchester United end the season on a high by beating Chelsea FC in the FA Cup final at Wembley next weekend.
The Red Devils finished as runners-up to Manchester City this season in the Premier League and they will be aiming to challenge for the title next term.
