The Daily Mirror is reporting that Jose Mourinho is keen on linking up with the Brazilian attacker at Old Trafford after having coached him during his second spell at Chelsea FC.
The same report says that Mourinho is a keen admirer of Willian and that Chelsea FC are keen on a move to sign the 22-year-old Martial from the Old Trafford club.
The story claims, though, that Manchester United would only be willing to consider letting Martial leave Old Trafford if Willian is included as part of the deal.
According to the same article, Willian was the second of the two players Mourinho wanted to bring to Old Trafford from the Blues after the Red Devils signed Nemanja Matic from Chelsea FC last summer.
However, the story also says that Manchester United will face an uphill battle in trying to convince Chelsea FC to let Willian leave the club.
Meanwhile, the two sides are set to face off in the FA Cup final at Wembley at the end of the month as they bid to try and end the season with a trophy.
