Manchester United are ready to let a number of players leave this summer, according to reports
Manchester United are ready to let a number of first team players leave Old Trafford this summer to make way for new additions at the club, according to reports in the British media.
Metro is reporting that the Red Devils are prepared to let a number of first team stars leave the club in order to free up some funds ahead of the summer transfer window.
The same story says that both Daley Blind and Matteo Darmian are considered to be surplus to requirements at Old Trafford and are likely to be sold this summer.
There is also still uncertainty about Luke Shaw’s long-term future at the club, according to the same article.
And Marouane Fellaini’s situation is also still unclear, with the Belgian midfielder having yet to sign a new deal at Old Trafford despite his current contract being set to expire in the summer.
Manchester United, according to the same report, are looking to spend big this summer, but they will likely have to offload a number of players to help balance the books.
Meanwhile, the Red Devils are currently preparing for their Premier League clash against Watford on Sunday in their final top-flight game of the season.
