Anderson Talisca has addressed transfer speculation linking the Besiktas star with a move to Liverpool FC or Manchester United this summer.

Talisca will be a name familiar to Red Devils supporters after the Brazilian was linked with a potential switch to Old Trafford in 2017.

However, the 24-year-old remained at Besiktas despite the intense transfer speculation suggesting a departure from Turkish football was on the cards.

Liverpool FC have also reportedly entered the race to sign the talented forward, who spent the 2017-18 season on loan at Besiktas from Portuguese side Benfica.

Talisca has scored 14 goals and has made seven assists in 33 appearances in the Turkish top flight, while the South American netted four times in eight Champions League outings in the 2017-18 campaign.

Quizzed about which country he would interest the Besiktas star, Talisca told Correio da Bahia: “England. For the fans, for being a theatre, a show, all games are a spectacle and I like it.

He added: “The interest exists, it exists, but there is nothing certain.

“I haven’t agreed anything yet. It’s just speculation. These things of negotiations I can’t speak.”

Manchester United finished in second place in the Premier League table this season after finishing above their top-four rivals Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool FC and Chelsea FC.

The Red Devils lost 1-0 to Chelsea FC in the FA Cup final at Wembley earlier this month.
