Man United are keen on a move to sign Jack Grealish from Aston Villa this summer, say reports
Manchester United are keeping tabs on Jack Grealish as they look to strengthen their squad this summer, according to reports in the British media.
The Sun is reporting that the Red Devils are monitoring the midfielder’s situation at Aston Villa as Jose Mourinho looks to significantly strengthen his squad this summer.
Manchester United are believed to be on the lookout for a number of new signings this summer as the Red Devils aim to build a side capable of challenging Manchester City’s dominance of the Premier League next season.
The same story says that Manchester United officials have been impressed by the 22-year-old’s form for Aston Villa, and in particular his driving runs through midfield from deep-lying positions.
Grealish scored three goals and made six assists in 30 Championship appearances for Aston Villa this season, before they lost the play-off final to Fulham over the weekend.
Manchester United are set for another summer recruitment drive as the Red Devils look to try and win the Premier League next season for the first time since 2013.
The Red Devils finished second in the Premier League and without a trophy in Mourinho’s second campaign in charge at Old Trafford, and they lost the FA Cup final to Chelsea FC.
