Anthony Martial is part of Jose Mourinho’s plans at Manchester United next season, unless the striker tries to force a move away from Old Trafford, according to reports in the British media.

Metro is reporting that the 22-year-old has a significant role to play under Jose Mourinho, despite the uncertainty about his future at the club in recent months.

Martial has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford recently due to his lack of playing time for the Red Devils this term.

The France international only started 18 of Manchester United’s 38 Premier League games, scoring nine goals and making five assists in the top flight this term.

The same story says that Martial has been linked with the likes of Chelsea FC, Tottenham Hotspur and Juventus in recent days as the speculation about his future continues.

However, Manchester United are believed to be keen on keeping Martial beyond the summer.

The same article says that Martial is considering his future at Old Trafford but he has not yet told the club that he wants to leave.

His disappointing form this season caused him to miss out on a place in the France squad for this summer’s World Cup in Russia.
