Man United hope to raise £100m with the sale of two flops – report
Manchester United want to raise £100m with the sale of Anthony Martial and Luke Shaw this summer, according to a report in England
Manchester United are hoping to recoup £100m from the sales of Anthony Martial and Luke Shaw in the summer transfer window, according to a report in England.
The Sun is reporting that Manchester United are prepared to offload Martial following another inconsistent season from the France international.
Martial has struggled to hold down a regular starting spot in the Manchester United team under Jose Mourinho.
The 22-year-old has been linked with a potential move to Serie A giants Inter Milan and Ligue 1 side Paris Saint-Germain.
The same article states the Red Devils will accept a £70m bid for the France international ahead of the 2018-19 campaign.
Shaw is another player who has been linked with an exit at Old Trafford given Mourinho’s treatment of the England international.
According to the same story, the 21-year-old has been touted as a potential target for FC Barcelona and Tottenham Hotspur.
The Sun claim that the Red Devils would accept a £25m bid for Shaw after Manchester United made the left-back the most expensive teenager in the world when the club signed the England star in 2014.
Manchester United lost 1-0 to Chelsea FC in the FA Cup final at Wembley last weekend.
