Man United line up fresh bid to sign Croatia star – report
Man United could be set to reignite their interest in signing Ivan Perisic from Inter Milan this summer, say reports
Manchester United are lining up a fresh move to sign Ivan Perisic from Inter Milan this summer, according to reports in the Italian media.
Italian outlet Calciomercato, as quoted by The Daily Express, is reporting that the Red Devils could be set to reignite their interest in the Croatian winger after having been heavily linked with a move to sign him last summer.
A switch last year failed to materialise as the Red Devils ended up signing Victor Lindelof, Romelu Lukaku and Nemanja Matic.
According to the same story, Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho is keen to push through a deal for Perisic – and Anthony Martial could be made part of a swap transfer.
The same article also says that Perisic himself is not ruling out the possibility of a move to Old Trafford from the Italian club.
The 29-year-old Perisic has scored 11 goals and made eight assists in 35 Serie A games for the Italian club so far this season.
Manchester United are likely to be linked with a number of players this summer as Mourinho looks to assemble a squad capable of winning the Premier League title next season.
The Red Devils are still aiming to end the season with a trophy when they take on Chelsea FC in the FA Cup final next weekend.
