Man United face competition from PSG to sign 17-year-old – report
Manchester United are set to face competition from PSG for the signature of Ryan Sessegnon this summer, say reports
Manchester United are set to face competition from Paris Saint-Germain for the signature of Ryan Sessegnon this summer, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Mirror is reporting that the Fulham teenager is poised to be at the centre of a transfer tussle this summer, with both Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur long-term admirers of the full-back.
However, the two Premier League clubs look set to face fresh competition for the 17-year-old’s signature, with Paris Saint-Germain having apparently identified the defender as one of their targets for this summer.
According to the same report, Sessegnon’s future will in part be determined by whether Fulham are promoted to the Premier League or not.
Sessegnon has been in fine form for the Cottagers this season, scoring 15 goals and making six assists in 46 Championship games for the west London side.
Manchester United are likely to be linked with a host of players in the coming weeks and months as Jose Mourinho looks to build a squad capable of winning the Premier League next season.
The Red Devils are set to finish as runners-up to Manchester City and they will also look to win the FA Cup by beating Chelsea FC in the final at the end of the month.
