Jose Mourinho will allow Scott McTominay to leave Manchester United on loan next season to gain more first-team experience, according to a report in England.
Metro is reporting that the Manchester United boss wants to send out McTominay on loan to ensure the Scotland international get more first-team minutes next term.
The same article states that a number of Premier League clubs have submitted enquiries about the 21-year-old with view to a loan move for the holding midfielder.
The story goes on to suggest that Mourinho has conceded that he will need to send out McTominay on loan to ensure the Scottish starlet can continue his progress.
McTominay has made 23 appearances in all competitions in his breakthrough season at Old Trafford under the Portuguese head coach.
Mourinho started the Scotland international ahead of club record Paul Pogba signing in both legs of Manchester United’s 2-1 loss to Sevilla in the Champions League round of 16.
The Manchester United boss named McTominay as his player of the year in the club’s awards night earlier this month.
The Red Devils will take on Chelsea FC in the FA Cup final at Wembley this weekend with both clubs looking to get their hands on silverware.
