Man United reach preliminary agreement for first signing – reporter
Man United have reached an agreement to sign Talisca from Benfica, according to a Turkish journalist
Manchester United have reached an initial agreement with Talisca for the Besiktas star to join the Red Devils this summer, according to a Turkish journalist.
The Daily Star is carrying quotes from Turkish reporter Firat Gunayer, who claims that the Red Devils have got an initial deal in place to sign Talisca this summer.
However, it is also claimed that the attacking midfielder himself is yet to agree terms with the Premier League club.
According to the same report, the 24-year-old is expected to be sold by Besiktas this summer.
Journalist Gunayer is quoted as saying by the Daily Star: “Talisca has signed a preliminary protocol with Manchester United.
“Benfica, however, has not yet agreed with the British. Besiktas also take 21 and sell to other clubs.”
Talisca has been in fine form for Besiktas this season, scoring 20 goals and making seven assists in all competitions for the Turkish side.
Manchester United are bound to be linked with a host of players this summer as Jose Mourinho looks to assemble a team capable of winning the Premier League title next season.
The Red Devils ended up this season without a trophy after they were beaten by Chelsea FC in the FA Cup final at Wembley on Saturday.
Manchester United have not won the Premier League title since their final triumph under Sir Alex Ferguson back in 2013.
