Manchester United want to sign Willian from Chelsea FC in the summer transfer window, according to a report in England
Manchester United are interested in a potential deal to sign Chelsea FC winger Willian, according to a report in England.
Sky Sports is reporting that Manchester United want to sign the Brazil international in a summer deal from their bitter title rivals Chelsea FC.
The same article states that the Red Devils haven’t made an official offer for the South American but Manchester United remain interested.
According to the same story, Willian has two years left on his current Chelsea FC deal which means the Blues can be lavish in their transfer demands.
The 29-year-old was left on the bench until the final minute of Chelsea FC’s 1-0 win against Manchester United in the FA Cup final at Wembley.
The 20-time English champions finished in second place in the Premier League table but without a trophy to raise questions about their progress under Jose Mourinho.
Willian was omitted from the starting line up despite being voted the club’s player of the year for the second time in three seasons.
Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho was responsible for bringing Willian to Chelsea FC from Anzhi Makhachkala in the 2013 summer transfer window.
Chelsea FC finished in fifth place in the Premier League table last season.
