Real Madrid are interested in signing Mohamed Salah from Liverpool FC this summer, according to reporter Duncan Castles.

Salah has been one of European football’s top performing players this season and has been earning huge amounts of praise for his performances since his move to the club from AS Roma last summer.

The 25-year-old ended the season as the Premier League’s top goal-scorer and was also voted as the PFA player of the year following his brilliant displays.

Salah has scored a staggering 44 goals in all competitions for Liverpool FC this season and he will be hoping to help fire the Reds to Champions League glory over Real Madrid this weekend.

His fine form is inevitably going to prompt speculation linking him with a move away from Anfield this summer.

And sports journalist Castles has claimed that Spanish giants Real Madrid do have an interest in signing the forward this summer.

Speaking on the Transfer Window podcast, Castles said: “He is the only Liverpool player that Real Madrid are interested in signing.”

Liverpool FC are preparing to take on Real Madrid in the Champions League in Kiev on Saturday night as they look to end the season in the best possible fashion by lifting their first trophy under Jurgen Klopp.
