Roberto Firmino has reiterated that Liverpool FC will settle for nothing less than silverware under Jurgen Klopp.

The Reds have made progress under the former Borussia Dortmund head coach this season and are on course to finish in the Premier League’s top four in successive seasons.

Klopp steered the Reds to a fourth-placed finish in his first full campaign in charge last term after Liverpool FC managed to see off Arsenal’s late challenge.

The Merseyside outfit are in the Champions League semi-finals and were 5-2 winners against Serie A giants AS Roma in the first leg of their last-four clash.

The Reds are still waiting to win their first trophy under Klopp following his appointment as Brendan Rodgers’ successor in October 2015.

Firmino put pen to paper on a new long-term contract with Liverpool FC on Sunday to end uncertainty surrounding his future at Anfield.

Speaking to Liverpool FC’s website about the club’s targets moving forward, Firmino said:

“We all know how big Liverpool Football Club is. It is a club with a lot of tradition, so I hope to continue with the whole team going forward, dreaming aloud and aiming very high. Hopefully we will be able to win titles, that’s the most important thing for us.”

Liverpool FC were 5-1 aggregate winners against Premier League champions Manchester City in the Champions League quarter-finals to set up a semi-final meeting with AS Roma.

The Reds will make the trip to top-four rivals Chelsea FC in their next Premier League game at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
