Thierry Henry has lavished praise on Roberto Firmino following the attacker’s fine form for Liverpool FC this season.

Firmino has established himself as one of European football’s top attackers at Anfield in recent seasons and he has been rewarded for his top form with a new contract at the Merseyside club.

The Brazil international has developed a deadly attacking partnership with both Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah up front for Liverpool FC this season to help the Reds finish in the top four.

Firmino has scored 27 goals and made 16 assists for Liverpool FC so far this season following his sparkling campaign for the Reds.

The 26-year-old will be hoping to help Liverpool FC end the season on a positive note when the Reds take on Real Madrid in the Champions League final in Kiev at the end of the month.

And Henry believes that the Brazilian is one of the finest attacking talents in the Premier League after having flourished under Jurgen Klopp at Anfield.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Henry said: “I mentioned Firmino before – his movement, his work rate, the way he makes the two central defenders move to allow Mo Salah to make those runs.

“Firmino is the most complete striker in the league. I’m not talking about the best finisher or the best to operate – I’m talking about all around.

“Again, [Firmino is] the most complete in this league.”

Liverpool FC will take on Real Madrid in the Champions League final on Saturday 26 May as they look to try and prevent the Spanish side from winning the competition for a third year running.
