Paul Merson is tipping Tottenham Hotspur to ease to a comfortable win against Leicester City at Wembley on Sunday.

Spurs secured their place in the Premier League’s top four mid-week thanks to a 1-0 win against Newcastle United at Wembley.

Harry Kane scored the winner against the Magpies to take his tally to 28 goals in the Premier League this season.

However, the England international is three goals behind Liverpool FC star Mohamed Salah ahead of the final round of fixtures.

Tottenham will need to beat Leicester to be assured of third place should the Reds manage to beat Brighton and Hove Albion at Anfield.

Spurs have qualified for the Champions League in the past three seasons but are still waiting to win their first piece of silverware under Mauricio Pochettino.

Former Arsenal star Merson is backing Spurs to ease to a comfortable win against Leicester at Wembley in their final round of Premier League fixtures.

“Leicester make me laugh – one minute they’re completely shot, the next minute they go and beat Arsenal! It’s unreal. I can’t see anything other than a Tottenham win, though. Their tails will be up and I fancy them to hit a few,” Merson told Sky Sports.

“Harry Kane looks like he’s come back too early but hopefully he’ll be fully fit for England.”

Tottenham finished in second place in the Premier League table and seven points adrift of Chelsea FC at the top of the table.

Spurs are 23 points behind this season’s champions Manchester City.

Manchester United were 2-1 winners against Spurs in the FA Cup final at Wembley.
