Tottenham are keen on a deal to sign Anthony Martial from Manchester United this summer, according to reports in the British media.

The Daily Mirror is reporting that Spurs are looking to complete a deal to sign the 22-year-old forward from the Red Devils as the north Londoners look to bolster their squad ahead of their first season in their new stadium.

The report comes after manager Mauricio Pochettino signed a new five-year deal with the Lilywhites, with the Argentine now determined to lead Spurs to a Premier League title challenge next season.

Martial’s future at Old Trafford has been something of a source of speculation in recent months after his failure to hold down a regular spot in the first team at the club under Jose Mourinho.

According to the same report, Tottenham are also targeting deals for Ajax defender Matthijs de Ligt and Fulham winger Ryan Sessegnon.

Tottenham ended up in third place in the Premier League table this season as they secured Champions League football for next season.

Pochettino will now be hoping to be able to guide his side to a genuine Premier League title challenge next season as they look to keep up their impressive displays.
