Charlie Nicholas believes West Brom will secure a point against Tottenham Hotspur at the Hawthorns Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Spurs are in fourth place in the Premier League and can move one step closer to a top-four finish with a win at West Brom.

The Baggies have regrouped since their former defender Darren Moore took over the reins from Alan Pardew last month.

The caretaker manager is unbeaten since taking charge of West Brom following two victories and one stalemate.

The Baggies secured a 1-0 win over Manchester United at Old Trafford to hand the Premier League title to Manchester City.

West Brom came from 2-0 down to rescue a point in a 2-2 draw with Champions League finalists Liverpool FC at The Hawthorns last month.

Moore’s side kept alive their slim hopes of survival after a 1-0 win against Newcastle United at St James’ Park last weekend.

Former Arsenal star Nicholas is backing West Brom to pick up a credible point against Tottenham at The Hawthorns on Saturday.

“I just think that Darren Moore has put himself in the frame for this job,” Nicholas told Sky Sports.

“There’s a desire there and for the players there is guilt and embarrassment there. If I glanced at the side and saw him shouting at me I’d certainly look more enthusiastic.

“Tottenham, on the other hand, look leggy and Harry Kane seems as if he’s suffering a bit at the moment and needs to clear his head.”

Tottenham are looking to secure a top-four finish for a third successive season under Mauricio Pochettino.

Spurs suffered a 2-1 loss to Manchester United in the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley last month.
