Michael Owen states his prediction for West Brom v Tottenham
The Liverpool FC legend is backing Tottenham Hotspur to ease to victory over West Brom on Saturday

Michael Owen is backing Tottenham Hotspur to end West Brom’s promising run under caretaker manager Darren Moore on Saturday afternoon.
The Baggies have impressed in the past few weeks since Moore took over the reins of West Brom from Alan Pardew.
Moore is unbeaten as West Brom manager following a 1-0 win over Manchester United at Old Trafford to hand the Premier League title to Manchester City.
West Brom came from 2-0 down to rescue a point in a 2-2 draw with Liverpool FC at The Hawthorns last month.
Moore’s side were 1-0 winners against Newcastle United at St James’ Park last weekend to keep their slim hopes of beating the drop alive.
Tottenham are in fourth place in the Premier League table but Mauricio Pochettino’s men can hoist themselves above Liverpool FC with a win at West Brom.
Former Liverpool FC striker Owen is backing Tottenham to end Moore’s unbeaten start to his reign as West Brom manager.
“Darren Moore continues to impress as Baggies’ boss although both recent wins for the Albion have come on the road,” Owen told BetVictor.
“Spurs were not at their best against Watford on Monday but the hosts must attack given their perilous league position and I expect to see the visitors pick them off on the break.”
Tottenham suffered a 2-1 loss to Manchester United in the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley last month.
Spurs suffered a 4-3 aggregate loss to Serie A giants Juventus in the Champions League round of 16.
The north London side are on course to finish in the top four for the third successive season.
