The French international is widely considered to be one of the best holding midfielders in European football and he has been earning huge amounts of praise for his strong performances in recent seasons.
Kante helped Leicester City to win the Premier League title in the 2015-16 campaign before moving to Chelsea FC the following summer and helping the Blues to lift the trophy in Antonio Conte’s first season in charge at the club.
The 27-year-old plays a vital role in the heart of midfield for both club and country and former Arsenal manager Wenger has admitted that he is a huge admirer of Kante.
Speaking in an interview with beIN Sports, Wenger said: “He is one of the most influential midfielders I’ve seen play football.
“He constantly makes simple decisions and never overcomplicates it.”
Kante was unable to help Chelsea FC defend their Premier League title last season as they ended up in fifth place in the Premier League table.
However, the Blues did manage to end the campaign on a high by beating Manchester United in the FA Cup final at Wembley back in May as they won their second major trophy under Conte.
