Arsenal and Chelsea FC boost in bid to sign 26-year-old – report
Jean Michael Seri has his heart set on a move to the Premier League amid interest from Arsenal and Chelsea FC, say reports
Arsenal and Chelsea FC have been handed a boost in their bid to sign Jean Michael Seri this summer because the Nice midfielder is keen on a move to the Premier League, according to reports in the French media.
French outlet L’Equipe, as quoted by talkSPORT, is reporting that the midfielder is keen to try and secure a transfer to the English top flight this summer.
The same story says that Napoli are pondering a move for Seri this summer, with Jorginho seemingly on his way to Manchester City.
However, Arsenal and Chelsea FC could have the advantage in the race to land the 26-year-old midfielder this summer because Seri is reportedly “determined” to try and secure a move to Premier League this summer.
According to the same story, Seri is “well aware” of interest from Arsenal and Chelsea FC and he has decided that a move to the Premier League should be the next move of his career.
Both Arsenal and Chelsea FC are thought to be on the lookout for a number of new signings this summer as they look to try and build squads capable of at least breaking back into the top four next season.
Neither the Gunners nor the Blues will be playing Champions League football next season after they finished fifth and sixth.
