Juventus are aiming to beat Arsenal and Chelsea FC in the race to sign Aleksandr Golovin from CSKA Moscow, say reports
Juventus are aiming to beat Arsenal and Chelsea FC in the race to sign Aleksandr Golovin from CSKA Moscow this summer, according to reports in Italy.
Italian outlet Tuttosport, as quoted by the Daily Express, is reporting that Juventus are monitoring both Arsenal and Chelsea FC’s interest in the midfielder, who has been in fine form for his country at the World Cup in Russia.
According to the same report, Juventus are one of the front-runners to try and sign Golovin this summer and they have been strongly linked with a move to land him for weeks.
Now, the same article is claiming that the Serie A champions are determined to try and beat both Arsenal and Chelsea FC to the signing of the 22-year-old this summer.
The report says that Golovin is now Juventus’ top target in the summer transfer window as they look to strengthen their squad ahead of next season.
The story says that CSKA Moscow have already rejected a £15.8m bid from an unnamed club for Golovin this summer, and that Juventus are preparing to make a fresh attempt to try and sign the Russian starlet.
The article also credits FC Barcelona with an interest in signing him this summer.
