Unai Emery tells Arsenal star that he is ‘untouchable’ at The Emirates – report
Unai Emery tells Hector Bellerin that he is one of five key players in his Arsenal plans, say reports
Unai Emery has told Hector Bellerin that he is one of five “untouchable” players at Arsenal and he has a long-term future at the club, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Mirror, as quoted by Metro, is reporting that the new man in charge at The Emirates has reassured the right-back that he will be a key part of his squad in the coming seasons.
Emery is looking to stamp his authority at Arsenal after he was brought in as Arsene Wenger’s permanent successor at The Emirates back in May.
Now, it is being claimed that Emery is a huge fan of Spanish right-back Bellerin and he sees him as one of the Gunners’ key players moving forwards.
The same story says that Alexandre Lacazette, Granit Xhaka, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Henrikh Mkhitaryan are believed to be the key players on Emery’s “untouchable” list at The Emirates.
Emery has been tasked with steering Arsenal back into the Champions League after the Gunners ended up in sixth place in the table and without a trophy last season.
The north London side have not won the Premier League title since their famous unbeaten triumph in the 2003-04 campaign.
