According to the same story, Liverpool FC have recently sent scouts to watch the attacker in action for PSV, where he has become an influential figure in recent months.
The same article says that Arsenal and Liverpool FC are heading the interest in Bergwijn from the Premier League as the summer transfer window gets into full swing.
Bergwijn scored eight goals from out wide as he helped PSV to win the Dutch title last season, and it seems that his solid performances have not gone unnoticed.
According to the same article, Bergwijn has been touted as a possible target for Tottenham Hotspur in the past, but it is Liverpool FC and Arsenal who are most keen to land him as things stand.
Both Arsenal and Liverpool FC are looking to make a number of new signings this summer as they bid to build squads capable of challenging for the title next season.
