Sky Sports reporter: Arsenal and Chelsea FC want to sign 26-year-old midfielder
Peter Graves says Chelsea FC, Arsenal and Man City are all keeping tabs on Jean Michael Seri this summer
Arsenal and Chelsea FC are interested in signing midfielder Jean Michael Seri from Nice this summer, according to reporter Peter Graves.
The two London sides are believed to be on the lookout for a number of new signings this summer as they bid to build squads capable of winning the title next season.
Seri has long been linked with a move away from Nice and the Premier League has been touted as a possible destination for the 26-year-old Ivory Coast midfielder.
Now, reporter Graves has confirmed that both of the London clubs are keeping tabs on Seri ahead of a summer transfer swoop to sign the midfielder.
Speaking on the Sky Sports Transfer Talk podcast, Graves said: “Talk about a saga. His [Seri’s] name keeps coming up. He is attracting interest from Arsenal, Chelsea and Man City.”
Arsenal and Chelsea FC are both believed to be on the lookout for significant new signings this summer as they bid to build squads capable of at least breaking back into the top four next season.
Both Arsenal and Chelsea FC will have to settle for Europa League football next season after they missed out on top four finishes last term.
Chelsea FC did manage to end the season on a high last term though as they beat Manchester United in the FA Cup final at Wembley.
