The Belgium international has been regularly linked with a move to the Spanish giants over the past three or four seasons.
However, a transfer has failed to materialise despite Hazard’s reported desire to play Real Madrid at some point in his career.
The 27-year-old was one of Chelsea FC’s standout players in an otherwise disappointing campaign for the west London outfit.
Hazard has won two Premier League titles in two of the past four seasons as well as winning the EFL Cup, the FA Cup and the Europa League.
The Belgian forward is reported to be holding talks with Chelsea FC over a new deal but the two parties haven’t reached an agreement.
Hazard scored 12 times in the Premier League last season, while he netted a combined 30 goals in their title-winning campaign in 2014-15 and 2016-17.
“I don’t like the word selfish,” Hazard told BBC Radio 5 Live. “Selfish means he needs to dribble five players and score from 30 yards.
“It’s little things when it is two on two situation, he is such a nice guy and he is so humble, he will always be looking to make the pass instead of having the confidence to dribble because he can get past anyone in the world.”
Chelsea FC finished in fifth spot in the Premier League table last season to miss out on a Champions League spot for the second successive campaign.
The Blues were 1-0 winners against Manchester United in the FA Cup final thanks to Eden Hazard’s winner from the spot.
