The Champions League holders have been regularly linked with a raid on the Premier League over the past season.
Manchester United number one David De Gea was on the brink of a move to Real Madrid in 2015 but the deal collapsed at the last moment.
The Spain international has continued to be linked with a move to Real Madrid, even though a deal has failed to materialise in spite of the speculation.
Chelsea FC shot stopper Thibaut Courtois is another shot stopper that could take over the Real Madrid number one spot from Keylor Navas.
The Belgium international’s children and ex-girlfriend live in Madrid to fuel talk of Courtois making a return to los Blancos.
Liverpool FC are thought to be interested in a swoop to sign Alisson from AS Roma in the current transfer window after his impressive performances.
However, the Reds will face competition from La Liga giants Real Madrid to sign the promising Brazil international.
Sky Sports News reporter Sheth has suggested that Real Madrid’s pursuit of Allison means Chelsea FC and Manchester United can breathe a sigh of relief.
“It could be good news for Chelsea and Man United,” Sheth told the Transfer Talk podcast. “Real Madrid have made the first contact with AS Roma over a deal to sign Alisson.
“The first bid is expected to be around £43.7m. Way short of what AS Roma want. They want the £80m release clause they have on Alisson.
“It’s good news for Chelsea because Courtois has been linked with a move to Real Madrid.
“What will that mean for his future? He has only a year left on his contract.
“With Alisson going to Real Madrid, would it tempt Courtois to think about staying at Chelsea. Good news for Man United as well. Real Madrid have been linked with De Ge but if they get Alisson, it will put that too bed.”
