Chelsea FC, Man United offered chance to sign top 29-year-old striker – report
Chelsea FC and Manchester United have been offered the chance to sign Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski, according to a report
Chelsea FC and Manchester United have both been offered the chance to sign Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski, according to a report in Germany.
SportBild, as quoted by Manchester Evening News, is reporting that Lewandowski’s agent Pini Zahavi has offered the Premier League duo the Poland international.
The same article states that Ligue 1 side Paris Saint-Germain have also been given the chance to sign the experienced centre-forward in the summer transfer window.
According to the same story, Lewandowski has his heart set on a move to Champions League winners Real Madrid and is convinced by Chelsea FC, Manchester United and PSG.
Another factor is Bayern Munich’s transfer demands after the Bundesliga champions placed a 200m Euros (£176m) price tag on Lewandowski’s head.
Lewandowski has won four successive Bundesliga titles during five seasons at the Allianz Arena following his controversial move from Borussia Dortmund in 2014.
The Polish striker netted 151 times in 195 games in all competitions during his spell at Bayern Munich.
Lewandowski won two Bundesliga titles under current Liverpool FC boss during his four-season stint at Dortmund between 2010 and 2014.
However, the Bayern striker is rumoured to have a poor relationship with the club’s board to nudge the proven goal-scorer towards the exit door at the Allianz Arena.
