Alvaro Morata has insisted that he is ready to start fighting for his Chelsea FC future after the speculation about his situation at the club this summer.

The 25-year-old Spaniard has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge after just a year following his move from Real Madrid last summer.

Morata had initially started the season strongly under Antonio Conte last term but his form tailed off in the middle part of the campaign after he suffered a back injury.

There has been plenty of speculation linking the attacker with a move away from the west London club this summer, as the uncertainty about the managerial situation at Stamford Bridge continues.

Morata missed out on a place in the Spain squad for this summer’s World Cup in Russia due to his stuttering form.

However, the former Real Madrid star has made it clear that he is planning to stay at Chelsea FC beyond the summer with an update on his personal Instagram story.

He posted a picture of himself in a Chelsea FC kit and wrote the following message: “Very excited to start again.

:The past was hard but that is only one more reason to begin fighting again.”

Meanwhile, Chelsea FC are yet to make any new signings this summer following their fifth-placed finish last term.
