Daniele Rugani’s agent has admitted that Chelsea FC will have to resolve their managerial situation before considering a move to sign the Juventus defender.

Chelsea FC have been strongly linked with a move to bring the Juventus star to Stamford Bridge this summer as the Blues look to bolster their options at the back ahead of next season.

However, the west London side are yet to really step up their summer transfer business due to the uncertainty about who will be in charge next season.

Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri has been strongly linked with a move to take over at Stamford Bridge from Antonio Conte this summer, but there is yet to be an official announcement of any sort.

Now, the 23-year-old defender’s agent has insisted that the Blues must sort out their situation ahead of next season before proceeding with a move to sign Rugani this summer.

Agent Davide Torchia is quoted as saying by the Daily Express: “It is obvious to say that the Sarri question must first be resolved, then proceed with the negotiations and make them more or less concrete.”

Chelsea FC will be looking to at least break back into the top four next season after they finished in fifth place last term and missed out on Champions League qualification.

The west London side did manage to end last season on a positive note by beating Manchester United in the FA Cup final at Wembley.
