Eden Hazard has openly admitted for the first time that he is considering his future at Chelsea FC beyond the summer transfer window.

The Belgian playmaker is widely regarded to be one of the finest players in his position in European football and he has helped the Blues win two Premier League titles since his move to Stamford Bridge from French side Lille back in the summer of 2012.

Hazard has regularly been linked with a move to Real Madrid but the 27-year-old has always insisted that he is happy at the Stamford Bridge club.

Speculation about Hazard’s future is likely to continue this summer after Chelsea FC missed out on a place in the Champions League for next season following their fifth placed finish in the Premier League.

There is also plenty of uncertainty about Antonio Conte’s future at the west London club, with the Italian being strongly linked with an exit from Stamford Bridge.

And Blues playmaker Hazard has admitted that he is genuinely considering his future beyond the summer transfer window.

Hazard is quoted as saying by the Sun: “I will stay at Chelsea if the team is better than it was last season. I don’t want to stay if we are less good.

“It would be too easy for me to say that I want to leave because I have done it all.

“I have won everything bar the Champions League in London. I am where I am in my career thanks to Chelsea.

“Above all I would love to know what will happen at the club next season. I will wait and see whether the manager stays or goes.”

Hazard scored the winning goal for Chelsea FC as they beat Manchester United in the FA Cup final at Wembley last month to secure the trophy.
