Paul Scholes sends message to Eden Hazard about Chelsea FC
Paul Scholes discusses how Eden Hazard must look to go to the next level at Chelsea FC
Paul Scholes believes that Eden Hazard needs to show more drive and determination to go to the next level at Chelsea FC.
The 27-year-old playmaker is widely regarded as one of European football’s top talents and he has earned plenty of praise for his performances for Chelsea FC in recent months.
Hazard signed for Chelsea FC from French side Lille in the summer of 2012 and has won two Premier League titles with the west London side since his switch.
He was the difference for Chelsea FC as the Blues claimed a 1-0 win over Manchester United in the FA Cup final at Wembley last month as they ended the campaign on a positive note.
Hazard is now approaching the prime years of his career and the Belgium international will be hoping to step his game up for both club and country.
And former Manchester United midfielder Scholes has offered the playmaker some advice as Hazard continues to look to develop into one of the top attackers in world football.
Speaking to BT Sport after the FA Cup final, Scholes said: “I think he needs more drive and determination.
“I don’t know him on the training pitch, I may be totally wrong there. He’s got so much more to give.
“He’s a special talent, don’t get me wrong, he’s brilliant now. But I think he can go to that next level with a bit more determination.”
Chelsea FC missed out on a place in the Champions League for next season after the Blues ended up in fifth place in the Premier League table.
