Chelsea FC on the verge of signing quality 23-year-old – report
Chelsea FC are on the brink of completing a deal to sign Daniele Rugani from Juventus, say reports
Chelsea FC look to have been handed a possible transfer boost in their bid to sign Daniele Rugani from Juventus after the Italian club began looking for replacements, according to reports in the Italian media.
Italian outlet Tuttosport, as quoted by the Sun, is reporting that Juventus are looking at Ajax star Matthijs De Ligt and Atletico Madrid’s Diego Godin as possible replacements for Rugani this summer.
Rugani has been strongly linked with a move to Stamford Bridge this summer as the Blues look to try and shore up their options at the back ahead of next season.
Now, the same report claims that Rugani is on the verge of being confirmed as a Chelsea FC player this summer after having agreed personal terms with the west London club.
The 23-year-old could be on his way to Stamford Bridge as Chelsea FC’s first signing of the summer, and that has prompted Juventus to start looking at De Ligt and Godin as possible replacements for the defender.
Chelsea FC are thought to be on the lookout for a number of new signings this summer as they bid to build a squad capable of winning the Premier League next season.
The west London side ended up fifth and without a trophy last term.
