The Chelsea FC midfielder was partnered with Manchester United star Paul Pogba in the middle of the park as Les Bleus claimed the three points to take a step closer towards reaching the knockout phase.
Kante, 27, has earned a reputation as one of world football’s finest holding midfielders and he has been earning lots of praise for his performances for the Blues of late.
And Atletico Madrid left-back Hernandez was very impressed by what he saw from Kante during France’s 1-0 win over Peru on Thursday.
Hernandez was quoted as saying by Metro after the game: “N’Golo, you see him everywhere, all of a sudden he comes out of the ground!
“Frankly, it’s really amazing to play with a player like that, someone who wins you back I do not know how many balls in a match. I hope he continues like this.”
Kante will be hoping to help Chelsea FC to challenge for the Premier League title once again next season after the Blues finished in fifth place last term and won the FA Cup.
The west London side are yet to make any new signings this summer as they look to try and strengthen their squad ahead of next term.
The Blues have won the Premier League title in two of the last four seasons, under both Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte.
