The 52-year-old Frenchman has been touted as a possible target for the Blues as Antonio Conte’s future at Stamford Bridge continues to remain as a source of speculation.
Chelsea FC endured something of a disappointing campaign last season when they slumped to a fifth-placed finish in the Premier League under Conte and missed out on Champions League qualification.
However, the Blues did manage to end the campaign on a positive note by beating Manchester United in the FA Cup final at Wembley last month.
Blanc has been strongly touted as a possible candidate to take over from Conte at Chelsea FC, but Giroud has insisted that he is unaware whether there is any truth to the reports or not.
Speaking at a news conference on Thursday while on France duty, Giroud said: “I do not know at all.
“I hear things being said, but as long as it’s speculation, we do not know, we’ll see.
“Blanc knows me, he trained me, but it is Antonio Conte who made me come to Chelsea. Antonio Conte is under contract, I do not and will not talk about a new coach.”
Chelsea FC will at least be aiming to break back into the top four next season after their disappointing Premier League campaign last term.
The west London club had won the Premier League title in Conte’s first season in charge at the club in the 2016-17 campaign.
