The Daily Mail is reporting that the Blues have decided against selling the England midfielder this summer because they feel that he has the potential to become a key player.
However, it is also claimed in the same report that the west London side would be prepared to let Loftus-Cheek go out on loan once again, after he spent last season at Crystal Palace.
The same story says that Chelsea FC will not listen to offers for Loftus-Cheek because they believe that he still has a key role to play for the Blues in the future.
Loftus-Cheek is currently on international duty with England at the World Cup and he has featured in both of the Three Lions’ opening games in Russia against Panama and Tunisia.
Meanwhile, Chelsea FC are yet to confirm the arrival of any new signings this summer as they bid to build a squad capable of winning the Premier League title next season.
The Blues finished in a disappointing fifth place in the Premier League last season as the missed out on Champions League qualification.
