According to the same report, the west London side are hopeful of wrapping up a deal to bring in Rugani before appointing Sarri as the club’s new manager this summer.
It is also claimed in the same story that Juventus have already begun their search for a potential replacement, with AFC Ajax defender Matthijs de Ligt being targeted by the Serie A champions.
Chelsea FC are beginning to be linked with a host of players this summer but the Blues are yet to confirm the signings of any new players ahead of next season.
The west London side are likely to be keen to significantly bolster their squad this summer, as they prepare to try and at least break back into the top four next season.
