Chelsea FC are in talks with CSKA Moscow over a potential deal to sign Aleksandr Golovin this summer, according to a report
Chelsea FC have opened talks with CKSA Moscow over a potential deal to sign Aleksandr Golovin in the summer transfer window, according to a report in England.
The Daily Mail is reporting that the Blues have made contact with the 22-year-old’s representatives to discuss terms as Chelsea FC look to improve their attacking options this summer.
The same article states that CSKA Moscow are demanding around £25m for the Russia international following his impressive performances at the World Cup this summer.
Golovin has scored one goal and made two assists in three group-stage appearances to help the hosts reach the World Cup round of 16 on home soil.
Naturally the CSKA Moscow midfielder is attracting interest from a number of top European clubs such as Serie A giants Juventus.
Chelsea FC are in turmoil with Antonio Conte still in place at Stamford Bridge despite relentless speculation surrounding his future at the west London side.
The Blues have been heavily linked with a move to appoint former Napoli head coach Maurizio Sarri as Conte’s replacement.
The west London side finish in fifth place in the Premier League table last season to leave Chelsea FC without Champions League football in the 2018-19 season.
