Maurizio Sarri will look to make Juventus defender Daniele Rugani his first Chelsea FC signing, according to a report in England.
The Daily Express is reporting that the Italian head coach has agreed a deal with the Blues to replace Antonio Conte at Stamford Bridge.
His compatriot is still officially in charge of the west London side but is being widely tipped to leave the west London side this summer.
The same article states that Sarri is set to put pen to paper on a two-year deal with an option to add a third addition year to his contract.
According to the same story, the former Napoli boss has already submitted his list of summer target to Chelsea FC owner Roman Abramovich.
The Daily Express goes on to claim that Italy and Juventus defender Rugani will become Sarri’s first signing as Chelsea FC manager.
The Blues finished in fifth place in the Premier League table last season to miss out on a spot in the Champions League for the second time in three seasons.
Chelsea FC were 1-0 winners against Manchester United in the FA Cup final at Wembley thanks to Eden Hazard’s winner from the penalty spot.
